MACHINING TECHNOLOGY
Precision is your playground!
You work with machines that turn metal into true masterpieces—
with micrometer precision.
- You file, saw, drill, mill, turn, and polish – using classic machines.
- You work with CNC machines that you program and control – pure high-tech!
- You use spark erosion to manufacture super-precise parts.
- You create and edit CNC programs – according to standards and with your head.
- You set up machines, put them into operation, maintain and repair them.
Apprenticeship period: 3.5 years
ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
Electricity is your element!
You bring energy where it is needed—and make sure everything runs smoothly.
- You lay cables and connect wires—whether insulated or bare.
- You build systems that supply power or control machines—from energy supply to drive technology.
- You assemble, test, and maintain technical systems—and get them up and running.
- You repair electronic and mechanical components—if something isn’t working, you’re there to fix it.
- You program control systems that tell machines what to do.
- You find faults, fix them, and document what you’ve done.
- You maintain production facilities to keep everything running smoothly.

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
You build what others need!
You are the all-rounder among technical professionals—you build, assemble, repair, and keep everything running smoothly.
- You maintain and monitor production facilities to ensure that
they are always ready for use. - You manufacture workpieces that fit perfectly—made to measure and to standard.
- You turn, mill, and weld—using electricity or protective gas.
- You machine mechanical parts and assemble components.
- You assemble machines and systems, test them, and put them into operation.
- You build pneumatic and hydraulic systems—anything that runs on pressure.
- You disassemble machines, find faults, and get them back into working order.
